What analytics collect

If you allow analytics, this site uses PostHog to record page views, page exits, site performance measurements, and clicks on navigation, article, tool, and referral links. PostHog assigns a random browser identifier so visits from the same browser can be counted together.

PostHog receives the network details needed to accept the request, including an IP address. Each analytics event disables location enrichment. Session recordings, heatmaps, automatic click capture, form values, account information, and person profiles are not collected.

Why I use it

The reports show which articles and calculators people use and whether pages perform well. I use that information to decide what to improve or build next.

Where the data goes

PostHog processes the analytics data in the United States on behalf of Canadian Wealth Ops. Analytics events are kept for up to 12 months. You can read PostHog's privacy notice.

Your saved choice

This site stores one separate browser preference named wealthops.analytics-consent.v1. It records only whether you allowed or declined analytics. It stays in your browser until you change the choice, clear your site data, or your browser removes it.

Changing your choice to No thanks stops future analytics from that browser and clears PostHog's analytics identifier and session data. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of existing analytics data, email privacy@wealthops.ca.
