Wealthsimple’s Diwali giveaway: spin for a gold coin
From November 6 to 10, spin the coin on Wealthsimple’s Home screen for a chance to win a 1/10 oz gold coin. Here’s how to enter.
Where to find the coin
Open the Wealthsimple app, scroll below your accounts on Home and swipe the gold coin. Only your first spin each Eastern Time day counts, up to five spins. Entry closes November 10, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.
You need a personal account and November Monthly Millionaire registration before spinning. New and existing clients can enter. No purchase or account funding is required for the Diwali contest.
Planning to join Wealthsimple? Apply a referral before funding if you want the separate cash signup bonus. That bonus requires $100 in qualifying external funding. Using a referral does not register you for the contests.

Standard $25 referral details
The standard cash referral gives eligible new Canadian clients $25 after at least $100 in net eligible external funding arrives within 30 days of establishing the referral.
For payout, you must be the primary owner of an active personal Chequing account in good standing. Keep the $25 bonus for 180 days or it may be recovered.
How the gold coin is awarded
Up to 50 coins are available, capped at 10 per day and one per person. Every 15,000th eligible spin recorded across the contest can win, subject to the daily cap. The count continues across days, but you can’t see it in the app.
The prize is physical gold, valued at about C$631 on October 27. Its value can change with gold prices.
You still earn Monthly Millionaire entries
A qualifying daily spin also awards 5 to 50,000 entries under November’s Monthly Millionaire rules. The total entry cap is 100,000. Those entries count toward the monthly draws, not the order of winning Diwali spins.
Eligibility and claiming a coin
You must be a Canadian resident of majority age, including in Quebec, with accounts in good standing. The official rules list employee and household exclusions.
A winning-spin notification is provisional. Return the declaration and correctly answer the timed skill-testing question on your first attempt. Claim by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the fifth day after the claim email is sent. You’ll need a personal Chequing account.
