The gold values are dated estimates

November's rules value each 1 oz gold bar at approximately CAD$5,825.80 and each 1/10 oz gold coin at CAD$630.87 as of October 27, 2026. Those are stated retail values for the promotion, not a live gold quote or an amount Wealthsimple promises to pay you.

The value of gold can rise or fall before or after delivery. No payment makes up a difference from the stated value. Gold prizes are physical products, and Wealthsimple doesn't exchange them for cash or deposit them into an investment account.

The rules allow the design, year, colour and other specifications to vary from campaign images. The illustrations on this page identify prize types. They don't establish a mint, purity, exact design or product you will receive.

How many prizes are available each week?

The app's rounded counts describe the whole contest. For example, four gold bars means one scheduled in each weekly draw, not four every Thursday. The table below adds the exact weekly quantities in November's Rule 10.

These are scheduled awards, not confirmed winners or a measure of your odds. Gold forfeited because a selected entrant fails regulatory verification can be reallocated to a later draw under Rule 13. That exception doesn't apply to every unclaimed prize.

Gold bars get 30 days. Gold coins get five.

A potential win still requires the first-attempt, unassisted skill-testing answer, declaration, regulatory verification and a personal Wealthsimple Chequing account. Complete every required step by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the applicable deadline day.

Count from the actual reveal date, which can change. Don't assume the longer gold-bar window applies to a gold coin. A missed claim deadline can mean losing the prize.

Gold is delivered to the address on your profile

Wealthsimple Investments Inc. supplies the gold and uses a secure, insured courier. Delivery goes only to the residential address on your Wealthsimple profile. You must sign and show government-issued photo identification, whether receiving the parcel or collecting a missed delivery.

Failing to collect gold within three days from the shipping partner can lead to disqualification and forfeiture. Gold and charms can't be sent to a P.O. box. Complete the requested shipping details during the claim period, and use Wealthsimple support if your address is wrong.

Claiming a gold prize allows Wealthsimple to share the identity, contact and delivery information needed by its supplier. Risk of loss passes to you at delivery. The rules don't cover loss, theft or damage after that point.

Charms use a different delivery process

The charm is a Wealthsimple-branded product with a stated approximate value of CAD$13. The app calls these bag charms. The November rules call them Charm Prizes, while the help-page questions also use keychain.

Charms ship by untracked postal mail, rather than the insured gold courier. Wealthsimple disclaims responsibility after mailing and for returned undeliverable items. The exact style can differ from the promotional image, and you can't request cash instead.

What if a prize notification looks wrong?

Open Monthly Millionaire in the official app and follow its claim flow. An email or displayed amount alone doesn't establish entitlement. The rules make Wealthsimple's official draw records decisive if a notification conflicts with them.

WealthOps doesn't handle prize delivery or check claims. Don't send this site account credentials, identity documents or payment details. Use the official help page for a claim question.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions

Can I win a gold prize and the $1 million in the same draw?

No. The November rules limit each person to one prize per weekly draw across all prize categories. You can still win in another week, and eligible entries continue into later November draws.

Does winning remove my entries?

Entries don't reset between November draws. Your eligible entries carry forward, subject to the rules, the overall cap and any reductions or voided allocations. Winning one week doesn't by itself exclude you from later weeks.

Can I sell the gold or ask Wealthsimple for cash?

The contest awards physical gold and provides no cash exchange or account-credit option. It doesn't establish a resale price or buyback service. A later sale would be separate from the prize and may involve pricing, fees and tax considerations.

Are prize winnings taxable?

Wealthsimple's November FAQ says Canadian contest winnings generally aren't taxable income and recommends advice for your own circumstances. That doesn't mean future interest, investment income or gains after receiving a prize are tax-free.

How do I enter for these prizes?

The November entry period runs October 29 to November 25. Registration, eligible accounts, deposits, passkeys, Savings and the no-purchase essay route are covered in the November entry guide linked below. No method guarantees a win.
